Cheyenne - 1 Year

Cheyenne runs around the house jabbering, she knows "excuse me" means to move, "can I have it" means to hand me what she has, "yucky" means to spit out whatever she has in her mouth, etc., and she says some words like "Mom" "Dad" "Uh-oh", etc. She will occasionally repeat something we say. If you ask her what a puppy says she will imitate one, if you ask her what a cow says she goes "mmm" and if you ask about a bear she goes "a rar rarr." When we have the front door open, she stands there looking out and talking to who-knows-what. She can never get enough of the outdoors and often points toward the door wanting to go out.

The "Read More" link displays this entire article and pictures of Cheyenne at approximately one year (she's now 15 months already!).

The next four years
Written by Melissa

When considering all results from the election yesterday, we're in for a bad four years. We are in for trouble. Lord, have mercy on us.

"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."

—Samuel Adams
